Lifts the Deep Layers of the Skin

Existing procedures are available to address skin tone and texture, smooth wrinkles, fill lines and lost facial volume and tighten skin. However, until now, there has not been a minimally invasive procedure to lift the deeper layers of skin on the face and neck. Silhouette InstaLift™ is proven to lift the deeper layers of skin on the face and neck and promote natural collagen production to these areas.

As the face ages, the skin begins to sag and lose a youthful fullness. This is due to gravity, environmental toxins, diet and weight loss. Much of the issues in an aging face are a result of lost cellular volume in the deeper layers of the skin. What to Expect

Silhouette InstaLift™ procedure takes 30-45 minutes to perform. Dr. Ennis is an expert in surgical and non-surgical facial procedures. He is known for his beautifully natural results.

Preparing for the Procedure

Prior to the procedure, the patient is given local anesthesia for comfort. The surgeon utilizes small sutures with cone shaped inserts. These bidirectional cones are intended to reposition and elevate the skin on the face. The surgeon inserts the sutures under the skin in a strategic fashion to elevate the skin with the structure of the cones. The procedure is done in less than 45 minutes for most patients. Once the surgeon places the sutures and tightens them, the procedure is complete. This procedure is simple and intended to re-contour the face. The bidirectional cones lift the deeper layers of skin for a more youthful facial appearance.

The Sutures

The sutures are easily absorbable by the patient’s body. They are made of a Polyglycolide/L-lactide (PLGA) compound. This is a common biomedical substance that has been used for many years in the medical field. It is known for its ability to naturally absorb in the body. Once the sutures are inserted under the skin, the PLGA compound acts to stimulate fibroblasts and then collagen production in the skin. This helps to tighten the skin and restore a youthful facial shape instantly and overtime.

The Recovery

The recovery is rather simple, as this is a minimally invasive procedure. There really is no downtime. The sutures are placed and naturally absorbed by the body over time. There is no need to remove the sutures. After the procedure, patients are able to drive themselves home, return to normal activities and work. Most patients do not need any pain relief medication or only utilize over the counter pain relief. Patients should wait several hours before applying makeup. Most patients do not have any swelling, redness or bruising.

After the procedure patients will see immediate results. Over time the sutures are naturally absorbed in the body, while stimulating production of collagen. This collagen production facilitates skin renewal for natural and long lasting results.
